Foghorn

One of my ranching buddies asked me to come out in early March to take some pictures of his new calves. I had ideas in my head and all of them involved the perfect morning sunlight to bathe them in their newborn glory. The entire drive to his ranch, I was surrounded by fog. I was bummed. But, in the Texas Panhandle, I can get sunny days 75% of the time. I seldom get what Mother Nature presented that morning. The unique blank canvas provided some spectacular family portraits. When we were done with his calves, I mentioned not having a Longhorn shot I really liked. We hopped in his truck and found this guy about ½ mile away. That morning with Foghorn will be with me for a long time.
